On the Colorado State University campus, research laboratories are just
as important to learning as pens and paper. The University called on RK
Mechancial to help it build a 100,000-square-foot, five-story
educational building with state of the art laboratories, a 254-seat
lecture hall and other small lecture halls for its Biology and Chemisty
Departments.
We also worked on a 100,000-square-foot Design/Build project for the
National Resource Research Center in Fort Collins. This three story, 47
laboratory and office building holds the Animal and Plant Health
Sciences branch of the United States Department of Agriculture. Our
other laboratory projects include:
- USDA Crops Research Laboratory in Fort Collins, Colorado, with CNII/Flintco
- GSA NRRC Building D in Fort Collins, Colorado, with Gerald H. Phipps, Inc.
- Roche T-20 Plant in Boulder, Colorado, with J.E. Merit / Jacobs Engineering
- CSU Biology Chemistry Laboratory in Fort Collins, Colorado, with Hensel Phelps Construction company
- National Water Quality Laboratory in Golden, Colorado, with Blackington and Decker
