The DIA Cooling Tower Re-Lining and Water Mitigation project is a complete refurbishment of the original ten cooling towers that are utilized for free cooling and chiller cooling for the main terminal, and concourses A, B, and C. The project consists of removing all the inner mechanical equipment of the towers, waterproofing the interior while it is disassembled, and re-assembling the towers with new equipment. The ultimate goal of the project is to repair the twelve year old waterproofing of the towers and to rebuild the towers to provide the most efficient system currently available.
