St. Anthony Hospital

St. Anthony Hospital is one of the few Level 1 trauma centers in the Denver Metro and Rocky Mountain Region. The state-of-the-art hospital consists of 671,154 square feet of life-saving space, including 272 private patient rooms, 30 isolation rooms, 72 ICU rooms, 24 operating rooms, two nuclear medical rooms, two CAT scans, one MRI, and three helicopter landings pads. RK Mechanical designed, fabricated and installed new plumbing, piping and HVAC mechanical systems for the LEED compliant building. These systems incorporated heating and chilled water from the new powerhouse, new air handling units (AHU's), plumbing, chillers, boilers, a full steam system, in-line humidifiers, high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration, Transvac system, medical gas and other mechanical systems for negative air rooms, emergency rooms and operating rooms.
