Park Lane Chiller Replacement

RK Mechanical Service supplied and installed a new 400 ton centrifugal chiller for this residential property consisting of three 20-story buildings. Project scope included the following:

• Demolition and removal of the existing absorption chiller
• Demolition and removal of existing structural walls to allow for access to the central plant
• Expedited 12-hour overnight electrical shut down and start-up to facilitate necessary electrical upgrades
• Disassembly of new chiller unit for transport into central plant
• Reassembly of new chiller unit inside central plant
• Inclusion of refrigerant exhaust, relief and safety systems
• Supply and installation of new chilled water pumping systems
